About the Project

Imagine a fully equipped computer lab that drives directly into your school and neighbourhood.

Powered by solar energy and equipped with laptops, tablets and robotics kits, the Mobile Computer Lab gives children access to practical technology education where they live and learn.

We are transforming a motorised tricycle into a fully functional mobile computer lab that delivers hands-on digital education directly to children and young people in Teshie.

Access to technology is not a privilege. It is a right.

Context

The Challenge

Many community schools lack computer laboratories and other essential technologies needed to enhance effective teaching and learning.

This limits educational and future career opportunities for children and young people in Teshie and other underserved communities.

Timeline

  1. Phase 1: Pilot

    2026

    Deploy the Mobile Computer Lab in Teshie schools, train youth facilitators and evaluate the community impact.

  2. Phase 2 onwards: Expansion

    2026-2030

    Gradually expand into other coastal and peri-urban communities across Greater Accra and beyond. Each phase will improve digital access, training quality and community engagement.
